Modelling & Simulation Trainee
As summer is approaching, we are searching for a Modelling and Simulation Trainee to handle various tasks from June 2025 onwards.
Main responsibilities:
- Modelling and simulation work for our WE Drive solutions to measure and control electric power production, distribution and energy storage
- Documentation and development of solution functionality
- Technical support for internal stakeholders
Competence requirements:
- Eligible to work and live in Finland (Vaasa)
- Technical student within either energy, electrical or automation technology
- Mathematical and analytical skills including familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink
- Understanding of control systems’ architecture and hierarchy
- Organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Good team working and communication skills
- Ability to take responsibility and make decisions independently
- Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Experience in power generation and/or marine solutions are seen as merits, as well as knowledge in power electronics and PLC based control systems.
